Dr. Andrew Huberman is a neuroscientist and tenured Professor in the Department of Neurobiology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He has made numerous significant contributions to the fields of brain development, brain function, and neural plasticity.
Dr. Huberman is the host of the Huberman Lab Podcast, which is frequently ranked in the top 10 of all podcasts globally and is often ranked #1 in the Science category. The podcast aims to help viewers and listeners understand science and science-based tools for everyday life, covering topics such as maximizing productivity, improving sleep, reducing anxiety, and controlling stress.
His lab's research focuses on neural regeneration, neuroplasticity, and brain states such as stress, focus, fear, and optimal performance. Dr. Huberman has been a McKnight Foundation and Pew Foundation Fellow and has received numerous awards and recognitions for his research, including the Cogan Award for his contributions to the field of vision science.
Dr. Huberman received his Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of California, Davis, and completed his postdoctoral training at the University of California, San Diego.
